We spent June 17th-18th evaluating the talent at the Midwest Showcase hosted by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. This was an evaluation weekend for college coaches, including the D1 coaches. Here are some players that had a good weekend.
Darin Conley, 2023, 6’5 Forward
Active forward with a strong frame who plays from 18 feet and in. Conley makes well-timed cuts to the rim and will finish through contact. His overall physical presence is felt on the court.
Aaron Rowe, 2025, 6’1 Guard (pictured)
A national prospect who really stands out in this type of setting. His talent with the ball and ability to make plays off the bounce is a cut above the rest. Rowe is a blur with the ball and gets anywhere he wants to on the floor. He’ll be a priority for some of the top programs in the country.
Travis Green, 2024, 6’2 Guard
Green plays with a lot of energy and intensity. He’s a glue-guy type of guard who defends at a high level, competes for rebounds, and will push the ball in transition. Impacts the game in a variety of ways.
Oliver Kokal, 2024, 6’5 Forward
Skilled faceup forward with great poise. He’s an outstanding rebounder with a clear gift for reading the ball off the rim. Kokal has a lot of key traits that will translate to the next level as a wing/forward.
Zane Witt, 2023, 6’8 Center
Witt is a smooth operator on the block who has quick feet. He’s alert with the ball and keeps the defense guessing. Runs rim to rim hard.
Cameron Stovall, 2023, 6’6 Wing
Athletic forward who floats around the floor looking for opportunities to attack. Great slasher with bounce going toward the rim. Stovall flashes signs of great potential and is one to track this high school season as he’ll play a national schedule.
Mason Costello, 2024, 6’3 Guard
High IQ guard with a quick release. Deadly shooter from the wing. Costello moves well without the ball and helps his teammates by spacing the floor. His presence is a positive for any offense.
