MBCA Top Performers Part 5

We spent June 17th-18th evaluating the talent at the Midwest Showcase hosted by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. This was an evaluation weekend for college coaches, including the D1 coaches. Here are some players that had a good weekend.

Xavier Wilson, 2025, 6’7 Forward

One of our favorite prospects in the building, Wilson is a longer wing/forward. His upside is through the roof as he moves his feet well on the defensive end and is an advanced passer on offense. It’s rare to see players of this age and size displaying those two qualities.

Nicholas Randall, 2025, 6’9 Forward

Another Vashon product. Randall has the size of a center but the game of a faceup four man. He’s good at attacking the rim, using fakes, and shows touch both at the line and from 15 feet. Has power 5 offers.

Curtis Stinson, 2025, 6’4 Guard

Big PG with feel and a top notch skillset. Stinson looks to be one of the better prospects in the state of Iowa right now, and in the future. There’s a lot to like from this young floor general.

Clayton Parker, 2025, 6’6 Forward

Stretch forward from Montgomery County, MO. Fundamentally sound player who makes an impact through his floor spacing and off-ball movement. Scored it in a variety of ways.

Kennard Davis Jr., 2023, 6’6 Wing

Quite possibly one of the top prospects in Missouri, Davis is a hard nosed and athletic wing. He’s got the ability to shut down the opposing team’s top player. Evolving offensive skill set. Holds mid-major offers currently.

Nassir Binion, 2024, 6’3 Guard (pictured)

EXPLOSIVE. Binion gets to the front of the rim in a blur and can jump with anybody at this showcase. Good perimeter defender who applies serious ball pressure. Tons of upside with Nassir Binion and he’s been trending in the right direction this summer.

Josiah Dotzler, 2023, 6’2 Guard

Lefty floor general with a smooth stroke from three. Creates using great change of pace. Confident with the ball and looks to make plays for others. High level prospect out of Nebraska.
