Scouting Report: 2022 Bloom Township Emondrek Erkins-Ford

2022 Bloom Township 6’8 forward Emondrek Erkins-Ford has started this season with something to prove and it is showing with his on-court play. He has help lead Bloom to a 6-2 record so far and a top ten ranking. Having watched him throughout the summer on the AAU circuit with Y&R then back with his high school team his game has gotten better each time he has taken the floor. He is someone I see starting to gain more attention from college coaches as the season continues as he is playing at such a high level. The main thing he has shown in the early part of the season is his assertiveness on both ends of the floor.

He passes the eye test because he has a great length and body for a basketball player. Long arms good hands, quick feet. He can beat his defender both inside and outside. In the post he likes to spin baseline and score. He can play facing the basket comfortably at 15-18 feet shooting the basketball. A shot blocker who rebounds well on both ends of the floor. He has a chance to dominate inside if he commits himself. I predict he will have some decisions to make once the season is over as what road will be the best option for his long term potential.
