Standout Performer: 2024 J.T. Rock (SD Attack)

J.T. Rock from Sioux Falls (S.D.) is off to a hot start during the Spring AAU season.

The 7-foot, 225-pound center is the top-ranked player in the state of South Dakota in the 2024 recruiting class and already holds offers from Wisconsin, Purdue, Creighton, Iowa State, Nebraska, and South Dakota State.

He has a great deal of upside and room for potential as he readies himself for the next level.

Rock’s length and timing allow him to start many fast break opportunities through blocked/altered shots and his ability to run the floor have resulted in a number of dunks

His skill set was on full display during the live periods in Indianapolis & Kansas CIty with dominant performances highlighted by a 28-point game. He scored from all over the floor as he showed he was not just a back to the basket player.

At this point of his career, his defensive game ranks ahead of his offense, but he does have the ability to connect on jumpers with range out to the three point line. This makes him an even better option on the break as he can trail and hit jumpers as the trailer on the secondary break.

This will be a player to continue to watch as we head into the summer as even more college coaches get to watch him live on the floor.
